Dating: Early 19th Century. Provenance: Indo/Persia. Slightly curved, double-edged blade, ribbed at the tip, with double fuller, decorated with a gold-inlaid, floral cartouche at the forte; rock crystal grip, slightly curved, with pommel worked as a bud. Dimensions: length, 35 cm.

Chinese enameled porcelain lidded bowl, lid decorated with children playing and ridding a dragon, bears Chinese characters on the base, mid to late 19th century period. Size; Height of dish is 4 inches with diameter of 7 1/2 inches. Condition Report; No condition issues.

This is a 2nd Century Roman Glass, hand blown 2nd century AD. It is thick and heavy, unflawed, no chips or cracks, no hairlines,it has impressed squares on the body for about two third of the way down. Unguentaria used to hold poisonous, caustic oils or ointments and were never smooth sided, to prevent the Roman from grabbing the dangerous oil by mistake. It is certainly one of the earliest poison bottles ever made. Measurements: 4 inches tall and 2 1/4 wide at its widest point...

Description: Persian manuscript page, 19th century or possibly earlier, gilded miniature Persian painting and script and copy of the verso taped to the back of the frame. The page size is 6.5" x 4" and in good condition. Collection of a University of Cincinnati professor.

Antique Japanese delicately carved horn guardian figure with bell in his mouth and holding a large object, 19th Century period. Size; Length and height of carving is 1 1/2 inches, fair condition with age cracks.

Description: Fine antique Persian copper bowl, late Quajar period, a band of engraved Persian poem from poet Hafez fallowed by geometrical design. On the base a horse in sitting position with a bird with open wings on the horse's back. This type of bowls was carried by people so every individual had his own bowl and was used for drinking water or wine. Measurements: 1 inches high and 3 3/8 inches in diameter in good condition. Fine Chinese silver basket, 7.5 inches in diameter, 19th century era, bears silver and maker's mark on verso. Condition Report: Good condition.
