A pair of Chinese blue and white under glazed porcelain covered bowls, the tops with spotted deer, stork, pine tree and magic fungus decoration and a floral band. The bases with leaf and flower decoration. Both bases marked with four blue underglaze characters, one reading "Bao Zhu Li Ji" and the other "Re Shen Zhen Cang". Both measure 4" H x 10 dia. Dating: Early 19th Century. Provenance: Indo/Persia. Slightly curved, double-edged blade, ribbed at the tip, with double fuller, decorated with a gold-inlaid, floral cartouche at the forte; rock crystal grip, slightly curved, with pommel worked as a bud. Dimensions: length, 35 cm.

Introduction: Myanmar silver-work is an ancient industry dating back to the 13th Century. Monarchs customarily used silver and gold bowls as rewards for the ministers and the attendants' loyalty and faithfulness to the royal family. Silver items were also a symbol of wealth because only the ministers, the generals and the rich citizens used silver for items such as betel-nut boxes and stands, flower bowls and vases, spittoons, daggers, dagger sheaths, and regalia and waistbands for the kings...

Antique figure of Buddha in sitting position with his palms out, copper bottom with impressed marking. Dimension: The figure has a height of 4 5/8 inches, in very good condition.

Fine Japanese engraved silver damascene cigarette case, 19th century period. Size: length of case is 4-3/4 inches. Condition Report; a few minor dings.

This is a 2nd Century Roman Glass, hand blown 2nd century AD. It is thick and heavy, unflawed, no chips or cracks, no hairlines,it has impressed squares on the body for about two third of the way down. Unguentaria used to hold poisonous, caustic oils or ointments and were never smooth sided, to prevent the Roman from grabbing the dangerous oil by mistake. It is certainly one of the earliest poison bottles ever made. Measurements: 4 inches tall and 2 1/4 wide at its widest point...

Chinese delicately Carved Agate Pendant, of compressed hu form with a surmounting squared handle attached to two open loop handles flanking the foliate relief carved neck, the body with taotie mask in relief, suspended from a carved hardwood stand, late 19th century era. Height 4 1/2 inches, in very good condition.

Chinese famille rose enameled porcelain plate, decorated with peony and floral design, six characters Chinese seal mark, late 19th century period. Size, diameter of the plate is 7 1/8 inches, in good condition with a couple of minor flea bites, hardly visible, to the rim.
