Description: Very rare and well crafted Persian hand made silver cup, depicting Reza Shah Pahlavi, the founder of Pahlavi dynasty on the front and on the side are Sassanian king Anoosheh Ravan and ancient symbol of archaemennid dynasty. Description: Striking and well crafted Persian hand made silver dish, Decorated in high relief with scenes depicting Archaemennid king Darius fighting mythological beast and also Archaemennid's religious and monarchy's symbolic figures on center surrounded by engraved foliage. The handle is also decorated with leaves and rosebud. workmanship is well. Dimensions: 6"H x 7"W x 4.5"D. This item belongs to late 19th to early 20th century from city of Shiraz in good condition.
