dating: Early 19th Century. provenance: India. Straight, single-edged blade with "T"-back; grip with jade grip scales, brass ring-nut. Wooden scabbard with velvet covering (later). dimensions: length 38 cm.

Chinese Carved Green jade Yue axe, having a central incised anthropomorphic mask design and meandering thunder pattern. Tan and dark brown suffusion and calcification with slight surface erosion. Suspended from a black silk cord on wooden stand. 4"H x 5.25"W. Stand measures 7"H x 8"W.

Description; Having a 6 3/4", cupric steel double edged blade, with a silver, at one time gilded hilt and pommel with traces of gold still visible, stylized lion's head pommel, red velvet over wood sheath with pierced silver decorations. Great craftsmanship been rendered by the maker by detailing the lion head, movable tongue. Overall length of this item is 27 cm, 10.5 inches. Small size of the hilt is the indication that this dagger been used by a Child or a woman!

Chinese gilt and enameled export porcelain plate, 18th century period, brightly decorated with birds, butterflies, insects and flowers. Size; Diameter of this fine plate is 8 inches, in very good condition.

Circa. 1900- Delicately carved handle, carved as a Pinocchio-type head with extremely long wood nose, metal collar, exotic ribbed wood shaft with brass ferrule to tip. Overall length of cane is 34 3/4 3/4 inches. Condition Report; Cane is in very good condition, we haven't detected any imperfections.

Chinese enameled porcelain lidded bowl, lid decorated with children playing and ridding a dragon, bears Chinese characters on the base, mid to late 19th century period. Size; Height of dish is 4 inches with diameter of 7 1/2 inches. Condition Report; No condition issues.

Very well crafted Sino-Tibetan gilded cast bronze figure of Buddha, seated in a lotus position upon a lotus base; dressed in a finely relief robe and a censer in one hand. Circa 19th century era. Size; Height of figure is 8.75 inches with width of 7 inches. Condition Report; Condition is consistent with age.

Chinese jadeite pendant/toggle, carved with a dragon head along with a chilong, coins and ruyi scepter which has two splashes of green in contrast with the white matrix, the back carved with scrolls in low relief. Size; Height of pendant is 2 inches, in excellent condition.

A pair of Chinese blue and white under glazed porcelain covered bowls, the tops with spotted deer, stork, pine tree and magic fungus decoration and a floral band. The bases with leaf and flower decoration. Both bases marked with four blue underglaze characters, one reading "Bao Zhu Li Ji" and the other "Re Shen Zhen Cang". Both measure 4" H x 10 dia. Well crafted Burmese repousse silver dish, the dish engraved and worked in repousse featuring immortals encircling the cavetto around a peacock chiseled to the center, from late 19th century period. Size; Diameter of dish is appx. 7 1/4 inches with no condition concerns.

Well crafted Chinese famille rose mandarin enameled porcelain bowl ca.1770's. Size, diameter: Diameter of bow is about 8 inches or 19.5 x height: 8.5 cm. Decorated with maidens, court figures and birds. Condition Report; Hardly visible hairline to the interior of the bowl, slight rubbing on paintings. Provenance: Private collector, Portugal. Wood base excluded.

Japanese silver mascot cane-Ca. 1890-Sizeable silver knob chased and engraved in high relief and very fine detail with an encircling dragon on the side and a round shield with traditional Fu calligraphy inscriptions conveying wishes of good luck and long life on the top. Rosewood shaft. Size; Handle measures 3 ¼” x 1 ¼”, Overall height of cane 36 1/4 inches. Excellent condition.
