Description: Watercolor Miniature Portrait of Madame Lebrun, in sitting position and painting. Louise Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun (Marie Élisabeth Louise; 16 April 1755 – 30 March 1842) was a French painter, and is recognized as the most famous woman-painter of the eighteenth century. Containing a hand-painted portrait of a young beauty. Overall height of item is 6 inches with length of 5 inches, measurements of portrait is 3.5 x 2.75 inches.
