BELLINI FLORENCE (partially effaced) 1 x 3-5/8 x 2 inches (2.5 x 9.2 x 5.1 cm) 3.2 ounces (gross) The elongated oval box with hinged lid opening to a gilt interior, lid with enamel scene of a courting couple, chased addorsed lion heads on scrolling foliate ground to reverse. Originally retailed by U. Bellini, Florence, Italy.

Orante foliate scroll decoration mixed with exotic animals including elephants, tigers and griffins, removable end caps. Central Presentation To His Excellency Sir Henry Monk - Mason Moore GCMC, 1946. Size; Length of case is 12 inches. Condition Report; Good condition with tiny ding to the corner of cap.

Elaborately engraved Tiffany sterling silver footed lidded jar, acorn and oak leaf finial on lift-off lid, etched decoration of duck and cattails to both sides with overall scrolling leaf and branch decoration, marked on bottom: TIFFANY & CO./STERLING/PORTUGAL, also inscribed in script: Best Wishes/Randi & Dad/Love/June & Dick/30 July 1973 but jar itself could have been manufactured much earlier.
