Antique Sterling SILVER Card Case 19th C This is a very attractive Sterling silver card case with elaborately decorated floral motif on both side. The case is hallmarked and according to my reading this item was manufactured by Whiting Manufacturing Company, New York, New York 1866-1926 a major manufacturer of full line of quality flatware and hallo ware that was absorbed into Gorham in 1926...

This is a 2nd Century Roman Glass, hand blown 2nd century AD. It is thick and heavy, unflawed, no chips or cracks, no hairlines,it has impressed squares on the body for about two third of the way down. Unguentaria used to hold poisonous, caustic oils or ointments and were never smooth sided, to prevent the Roman from grabbing the dangerous oil by mistake. It is certainly one of the earliest poison bottles ever made. Measurements: 4 inches tall and 2 1/4 wide at its widest point...

Description: Persian manuscript page, 19th century or possibly earlier, gilded miniature painting of the king's court with gilt script on the top. Copy of the verso taped to the back of the frame. The page size is 7.5" x 4.25", frame size 11.5" x 9.5" and in very good condition.

Description: Appealing and fine antique German Inkstand, single well, two great quality silver pen with Iridium point Germany tip. The stand is decorated with foliage design and bears JBA 800 mark. Description: Superbly executed and finely detailed cloisonne Dress Cane, Meiji Period. A one color cane with fine silver and enameling work. It is in great condition with ebony shaft. The handle measures 1 3/4" x 3 1/2" and overall length of the cane is 35 1/2 inches.

Handle is 1 1/2 inches high and 4 1/2 inches to the side, well carved handle with a beaded overlay of silver, engraved silver collar “Colonel E. F. Gosset”, thick ebony shaft and a horn ferrule. Overall length of the cane is 35 1/2 inches. Condition Report: Good condition
