Incredible Indo/Persian hand painted, oil on paper, manuscript page, depicting a courting maiden with attendant and suitor with calligraphy. Circa late 19th century period. Mounted in gold and black painted frame with matting. It measures approx. 10" height x 7 1/4" width. Condition is consistent with age.

Antique Silver Dress Cane-Ca. 1880-Long, vertical and tapering silver handle totally hand chased and engraved with scrolls, foliage and blooms, coco palm wood shaft and a brass ferrule. An exceptional size paired with a high relief and fine surface detail make of this scepter-like Anglo-Indian Kutch cane a desirable and first rate collectible. This is a 2nd Century Roman Glass, hand blown 2nd century AD. It is thick and heavy, unflawed, no chips or cracks, no hairlines,it has impressed squares on the body for about two third of the way down. Unguentaria used to hold poisonous, caustic oils or ointments and were never smooth sided, to prevent the Roman from grabbing the dangerous oil by mistake. It is certainly one of the earliest poison bottles ever made. Measurements: 4 inches tall and 2 1/4 wide at its widest point...

Description: Appealing and fine antique German Inkstand, single well, two great quality silver pen with Iridium point Germany tip. The stand is decorated with foliage design and bears JBA 800 mark. The size of stand is 7.5"L x 4.5"W and the inkwell stands 2 7/8" high, length of pen including the pen holder is 7 1/4 inches. This item is in excellent condition.
