This is an striking and well executed Austro-Hungarian antique silver and niello box, manufactured in Prague in 1820s.It is rectangular in shape and lid is engraved with scene of a farmer pushing a wheelbarrow down a town lane within foliate and leaf tip borders. This is a 2nd Century Roman Glass, hand blown 2nd century AD. It is thick and heavy, unflawed, no chips or cracks, no hairlines,it has impressed squares on the body for about two third of the way down. Unguentaria used to hold poisonous, caustic oils or ointments and were never smooth sided, to prevent the Roman from grabbing the dangerous oil by mistake. Description: Fine antique Persian copper bowl, late Quajar period, a band of engraved Persian poem from poet Hafez fallowed by geometrical design. On the base a horse in sitting position with a bird with open wings on the horse's back.
